VILLAGE WHEELS

COMMUNITY CAR SCHEME

The Village Wheels Initiative is a pioneering car sharing scheme
that uses volunteer drivers to provide lifts for people who are

otherwise unable to make essential journeys.

The initiative is being piloted by groups of people in Woolavington,
East Huntspill & Mark and supported by the CFRS (Communities First in Rural
Somerset) ‘partnership’ regeneration scheme.
The scheme will be very inexpensive and easy to use with clients able to book
journeys with a local co-ordinator.
